The Ritz-Carlton Toronto, 181 Wellington St W, Toronto, Ontario, M5J 2H5, Canada.

The Moodie Davitt Report and sister title The Foodie Report are delighted to announce that the 2017 Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference & Awards will take place in Toronto on 21-23 June.

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), which operates Toronto Pearson International Airport, will host the acclaimed event for the first time in North America.

As in past years, the event will feature a two-day conference and glittering awards ceremony that champions best practices across the global industry. The FAB Awards 2017 will, for the first time, include regional winners as well as the global accolades.

FAB attracts senior representatives from the world’s leading airports, food and beverage concessionaires and brands to network with industry peers, share insights and celebrate best practices in this burgeoning, ever-changing sector.

There will be an Airport Tour available to all delegates commencing at 13:00 from the FAB 2017 Welcome Desk, located in Lounge 15 of Terminal 1, Pre-Security. Attendees must bring their passport to gain access.

For delegates already in the hotel the tour will depart at 12:15pm, meeting at the FAB registration desk

There will also be a Friday afternoon social event which will take place after the conference and FAB lunch have concluded on 23 June.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Canada has introduced a new entry requirement, known as an eTA, for visa-exempt foreign nationals travelling to Canada by air. Exceptions include U.S. citizens (U.S permanent residents will require the eTA) and travellers with a valid visa. Entry requirements for other methods of travel (land, sea) have not changed.  Eligible travellers can apply online for an eTA here
